Chante J Mallard

It never ceases to amaze me how, in the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave’, a certain bodily configuration makes one somehow MORE free, MORE brave, and LESS liable to pay the full penalty for a heinous crime.
I refer of course to the case of Chante J Mallard.
A Fort Worth, Texas, woman who allegedly hit a homeless man with her car and left him impaled in the windshield until he died was indicted for murder Thursday.
Chante J. Mallard, 25, could receive a life prison sentence if she is convicted in the death of Gregory Glenn Biggs, 37. She was also charged by a grand jury with tampering with evidence in the bizarre hit-and-run accident last October.
After the accident on a Fort Worth freeway, police said Mallard drove home with Biggs’ body stuck in the windshield, parked in her garage and closed the door. They initially said Mallard had left Biggs in the tangled wreckage for two or three days — apologizing to him from time to time but rejecting his pleas for help. The medical examiner later determined, however, that Biggs died within 24 hours from shock and loss of blood.
An accomplice allegedly removed the body later and dumped it in a city park
If Ms Mallard were a man, especially in George W’s home state, she’d be in the execution chamber with the lethal needle in her vein before one could say “Boo”.
Doubtless Ms Mallard’s lawyer convinced the jury that the poor woman had been molested as a child by her father/grandfather/uncle/teacher, and this fact, combined with that of her sex (not gender — boats and pens have ‘gender’... but not in English), got her a sentence which will be ‘reduced’/’nullified’ in five years time. No wonder John Stoltenberg talks about ‘the shame of being born a child with a penis’! It IS a bloody shame what women can get away with!
