I have a test for any US citizens living in Canberra:
Provide a rational explanation in 50 words or less why the sight of Janet Jackson’s right breast — covered with a metallic starburst, no less — caused ‘outrage’ in these hyah Yoonarted States of America.
Points will be deducted if your explanation contains any of the following words or expressions — God, Jesus, moral, decent, Mom, apple pie or American (values/way of life).
The following phrase will lead to immediate disqualification — The female breasts are not objects of sexual attraction, but appendages for the feeding of the human infant.
On the other hand, extra credit will be given if you can rationally explain why you feel you have the right to push such value judgements down the throats of the rest of the world.
